🎮 What Avatar Arcade Is

Avatar Arcade is a collection of 9 classic arcade games (2048, Tetris, Snake, Flappy Bird, Memory Match, Breakout, Minesweeper, Connect Four, Match-3) with AI-powered avatar personalization. You can create custom avatars from your photos using AI or choose from emoji avatars.

📊 Data We Store Locally

All data is stored on your device only using secure local storage:

• Game Progress: High scores, game states, achievements for each game
• Custom Avatars: Photos you upload and AI-generated cartoon avatars
• Avatar Preferences: Selected avatars for each game, style preferences
• App Settings: Theme (light/dark), language, game configurations
• Usage Statistics: Daily usage tracking for avatar generation quota management

🤖 AI Avatar Generation

When you create a custom avatar from a photo:

• Your photo is sent to: Firebase AI (Google Gemini) for cartoon-style conversion
• Purpose: Generate a personalized cartoon avatar
• Processing: Photo is processed in real-time and not stored on our servers
• Generated avatar: Saved locally on your device only
• Quota: Free tier allows limited AI generations per day; usage is tracked locally

📈 Anonymous Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics (Google) to understand app usage:

• What we collect: App opens, game plays, feature usage (no personal information)
• Purpose: Improve user experience and fix bugs
• Identifiers: Anonymous device identifiers only
• No advertising ID: We explicitly disable advertising ID collection

🚫 Data We DON'T Collect

• ❌ Your name, email, or contact information
• ❌ Location data
• ❌ Browsing history or search queries
• ❌ Device contacts or photos (except those you explicitly select for avatars)
• ❌ Payment or financial information (app is free)
• ❌ Advertising identifiers

📸 Camera & Photo Access

We request camera and photo library access only when you choose to create a custom avatar:

• Camera: To take a new photo for avatar creation
• Photo Library: To select an existing photo for avatar creation
• Your control: You can deny permission and still use emoji avatars
• Privacy: Photos are only accessed when you explicitly select them

🗑️ How to Delete Your Data

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• Delete specific avatars: Use the delete button in Avatar Gallery
• Reset game progress: Use the "Reset Progress" option in each game's settings
• Delete all data: Uninstall the app from your device

🔐 Data Security

• All local data is stored using industry-standard encrypted storage (Hive, SharedPreferences)
• Photos sent for AI processing use HTTPS encryption in transit
• No passwords or sensitive credentials are stored

🌐 Third-Party Services

Avatar Arcade uses these third-party services:

Firebase (Google)

• Firebase Analytics: Anonymous usage analytics
• Firebase Crashlytics: Android only - anonymous crash and diagnostic data (stack traces, device model, OS version, app state at crash time) to find and fix stability issues; no personal information included, not used on web
• Firebase AI (Gemini): AI avatar generation (processes photos, doesn't store them)

👶 Children's Privacy

Avatar Arcade does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Parents should supervise children's use of the camera/photo features.

🌍 International Users

Avatar Arcade is available worldwide. Since data is stored locally on your device, no data crosses borders to our servers.

📝 Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy occasionally. Changes will be reflected with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
